Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job DescriptionAs an Avionics Technician, you will fabricate and install basic avionics and electrical systems, assist with complex installation tasks, and disassemble and reassemble aircraft interiors. You will also complete light sheet metal fabrications, assist with wiring harness maps, and perform wiring harness fabrication and installation. Your role will include completing antenna and coax installations, OHM and power checks, ground checks, and terminating wires.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install basic avionics and electrical systems.
- Assist with more complex installation tasks.
- Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interior as directed to facilitate avionics installation or repairs.
- Complete light sheet metal fabrications as directed to facilitate avionics installation or repairs.
- Assist with wiring harness maps or mock-ups.
- Complete wiring harness fabrication and installation.
- Complete antenna installations.
- Complete coax installations.
- Complete or assist with OHM and power checks.
- Complete or assist with ground checks.
- Terminate wires.
Essential Skills- Experience with avionic installations and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Proficiency in fabricating and installing electrical systems.
- Experience with wiring harness fabrication and installation.
- Skill in completing antenna and coax installations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience working on Airbus EC 135 and EC130, and Bell helicopters.
- Ability to complete light sheet metal fabrications.
- Experience with OHM and power checks.

Work Environment
You will work in a hangar environment at Allegheny Airport, focusing on Airbus EC 135, EC130, and Bell helicopters. The role involves hands-on tasks that require precision and attention to detail.
