Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Dallas, TX that is a world leading manufacturer of business aircraft with a global network of service centers. They are committed to building their products with the future in mind – making them reliable and more efficient, while contributing to highly favorable operating costs. They masterfully design private jets and signature moments through an extensive portfolio of innovative products.  

We are looking for experienced Avionics Technicians who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!

The Avionics Technician will install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment, such as radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems in aircrafts.  


Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment.  
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.  
  • Adhere to Company’s Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hangar positions. 
  • Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures. 
  • Participate in 5-S activities.  
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.  
  • Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations.
  • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed. 
  • Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed. 
Requirements

Education:

Required:

High school diploma or GED. 

The ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications. 


The ability to successfully complete the following trainings provided by AAA United States, Inc. after recruitment: 

  • Health & Safety 
  • General aircraft familiarization 
  • Quality trainings 

Preferred:

  • Training from an avionics/electrical Aircraft Technical School or other substantiated equivalent 
  • The ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable. 
  • A Certification, P Certification, or A&P Certificate 
  • GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate. 


Experience:

Required:

  • 2 years minimum experience in avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience on corporate aircraft. 
  • Previous hands-on experience with drilling tools, templates, drilling machines, fasteners, and torquing tools 

Preferred:

  • 5+ years minimum experience in Aviation Production 
  • Experience on corporate jets. 
  • Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: 
  • Knowledge of station safety, quality (clean as you go/FOD) and OSHA regulations. 
  • Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages): 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Technical Systems Proficiency: 
  • Basic PC skills
