Job Title: Avionics TechnicianJob Description
Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and optical areas. Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems. Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, and receive verbal instructions regarding duties. Interpret detailed specifications and instructions, work independently, and troubleshoot as necessary. Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in the prescribed format.
Hard Skills
- 2+ years of Avionics Technician experience
- Avionics testing
- Cable wire harness
- Experience with F-16 or other Fighter Jets (F-35, F-22, F-18, F/A-18, F-15 preferred)
Soft Skills- Independent work and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to interpret detailed specifications and instructions
Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Greenville, South Carolina.
Work Environment
No tools required. Work in a depot/heavy mods environment or aircraft production/assembly. Non-climate-controlled hangar. $1 pay increase for the second shift.
