As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting various avionics systems across different planes without installation duties. You will work with various brands of systems and focus on components and electrical systems, including airborne navigation, communication systems, autopilot systems, weather radar, transponders, pitot-static systems, compass systems, instruments, and accessories. Your role will involve testing and troubleshooting instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters. Additionally, you will perform some entry-level A&P work, such as removing panels.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot avionics systems for different planes.
• Work with various brands of avionics systems.
• Focus on components and electrical systems such as airborne navigation, communication systems, autopilot systems, weather radar, transponders, pitot-static systems, compass systems, instruments, and accessories.
• Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters.
• Perform entry-level A&P work, including removing panels.

• 4+ years of experience, including 1 year of general aviation or corporate experience.
• Experience with one of the following aircraft: Falcon, Hawker, Lear, Challenger.
• Experience with Collins Pro-Line, Honeywell, or Universal systems.

• Active A&P license (preferred but not required).

We offer profit sharing of up to 4 each year and cover 80 of benefits when permanent. You will work in a small team of 12 people, providing a small company feel with the stability and activity of a larger organization.

Work Environment

The work schedule is 1st shift from 7 AM to 4 PM, with 8 hours a day and some flexibility. Currently, there is not much overtime. You will primarily work in the hangar but may need to work outside at times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
