Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician with a minimum of 3+ years of experience performing testing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of avionics systems on corporate/business jets. The ideal candidate will have experience performing RSVM checks and pitot static testing and must possess their own tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of avionics systems on corporate/business jets.
- Conduct RSVM checks, pitot static testing, and CVR/ELT inspections.
- Ensure all tasks assigned and completed conform to industry standards, OEM Technical Data, and company manuals.
- Comply with all safety, efficiency, and quality standards, including HAZMAT and OSHA.
- Maintain shop equipment and tooling.
- Analyze, identify, and install avionics solutions across a multi-brand aircraft fleet.
- Manage projects, including timeline and budget management.
- Navigate FAA regulations and STC compliance matters.
- Interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Avionics Manager, Avionics Supervisor, or Lead.
Essential Skills- Minimum 3+ years of experience in avionics systems testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Experience with RSVM checks and pitot static testing.
- Strong troubleshooting and system repair abilities.
- Experience with corporate aircraft such as Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Falcon.
- Expertise in 91.411/413 and CVR/ELT.
- Self-directed project management skills.
- Professional troubleshooting expertise with glass cockpits and across the whole aircraft avionics spectrum.
- Robust knowledge of IFR Certifications and ADS-B installations.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Multi-platform experience (Gulfstream, Bombardier, Falcon) is preferred.
- Power Plant license (P) desired.
- Military Avionics or Avionics Associates’ degree is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new airframes, cabin management/entertainment systems, and avionics systems.
- Experience with hand tooling, wire strippers, and crimpers.

Work Environment
This is a professional environment catering to high-worth individuals and high-level executives. Our culture thrives on friendliness and getting along with everyone. Our team is currently small, with only 5 mechanics, making good interpersonal relations crucial. The dress code is casual but professional, typically involving a collared shirt with Dickies or khaki shorts and boots. The standard shift is from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility as needed.
