Job Title: Avionics TechnicianAvionics technician based out at the BNA airport in Nashville, TN. Pay range is $30/hr-$45/hr based on experience.
Job Description
As an Avionics Installer, you will be responsible for the functional testing, repair, maintenance, and inspection of aircraft electrical and avionics systems. This includes radar, lighting, radio, entertainment, and navigational systems.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft.
- Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance issues.
- Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters to determine performance.
Essential Skills- Experience with avionics installation (2+ years).
- Experience on corporate aircraft preferred.
- Experience with Garmin 1000 and/or 5000.
- Preferred experience with Honeywell equipment.
- Own tools that are etched and shadowed.
Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled hangar from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
