Avionics Technician

**This position is located at Fallon Air Force Base in Nevada**

Description:

• Perform organizational, intermediate, and limited depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components, and equipment
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of weapons systems, complex avionics/electrical systems and subsystems, communication/navigations, electronic flight control, fuel, power generators, power distribution systems, lighting systems, flight instrument and fuel systems, temperature and pressure indicating, engine and control indications, ATFLIR, Electronic Counter Measure, and RADAR systems
• Aircraft may include MH-60S, F-18, EA-18, E-2C, and/or F-16
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

• 4+ years of avionics experience on one of the following aircraft: MH-60S, F-18, EA-18, E-2C, and/or F-16
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Clearance

Pay:

• $49.29/hr
  • There is a pay increase up to $51.02/hr scheduled for 10/6/2024

Work Schedule:

• Must be flexible on shift
  • They have 5x8s (Mon-Fri) and 4x10s (Fri-Mon)
  • They also operate 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd shift (with shift differentials for 2^nd and 3^rd shift)
