Job Title: Avionics Technician ($30-$40/HR)Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technician with experience in heavy maintenance for various aircraft including Falcon 20-5, Falcon 20-F, CRJ 2000, ATR 72-600, Convair 580, Convair 5800, and B-727 200. This role involves performing the removal and installation of avionics components, fabricating wire harnesses, and conducting system installations, wire terminations, wiring ring-outs, and functional tests of avionics systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform the removal and installation of avionics components.
- Fabricate wire harnesses.
- Perform avionics system installations, wire terminations, wiring ring-outs, and functional tests of avionics systems.
- Read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams.
Essential Skills- Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Experience with avionics testing equipment such as multimeters.
- Experience running, crimping, and troubleshooting cables.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance, repair, inspection, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with avionics systems like communications, navigation, flight control, and radar.

Work Environment
Work in a well-lit, temperature-controlled hangar alongside approximately 30 other mechanics. The job operates on a second shift from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, Monday through Friday, with initial training on the first shift for approximately three months. The company is involved in charter and cargo operations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
