CH-47 Helicopter Mechanic

ROTAK has the opportunity for full-time/permanent CH-47D helicopter mechanics to join our team in an exciting and rewarding workspace. Maintenance staff operate on a rotational schedule and travel throughout the United States, and possibly overseas for short durations. Looking for applicants that have experience and a positive attitude.

• Job requirements:

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
  • Legal US work status.
  • Current US driver’s license.
  • Valid US Passport.
  • USFS carded
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining helicopters
  • Must have a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the past 24 months.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs and climb ladders.
  • Requires the ability and/or willingness to work on days, nights, weekends, on-call and in remote locations while on shift.
  • Must have or be able to acquire a drivers DOT medical

   

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Inspection Authorization and additional FAA ratings is a plus.
  • Experience with other helicopter platforms
  • Manufacturer training or military equivalent on CH-47D
  • Class A Combination CDL license
  • Avionics experience
  • Structures / sheet metal experience
