Position Summary:
AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Omaha, Nebraska that specializes in Aviation Fuel System and Component Repair. They are dedicated to ensuring their customers have a dependable partner providing high quality repairs both on-time and on-budget. With hundreds of years of experience servicing all types; private, corporate, commercial, and military aircraft.
The Electrical Installer responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the electrical systems within aircraft. These systems include wiring, circuit breakers, lights, instruments, navigation systems, and communication systems that are vital for the aircrafts operation and safety.
Essential Functions:
- Installing wiring, electrical components, and systems within the aircraft.
- Ensuring that all electrical systems are compliant with safety regulations and standards.
- Diagnosing electrical malfunctions and defects in aircraft systems.
- Repairing or replacing faulty components, such as wires, fuses, and circuit boards.
- Inspecting electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Conducting tests using specialized tools and equipment to verify that electrical systems are operating correctly.
- Upgrading electrical systems to meet new technological standards or customer specifications.
- Installing new features, such as advanced navigation systems or communication tools.
- Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems to extend the life of the aircrafts systems.
- Cleaning and securing electrical components to avoid wear and corrosion.
Requirements
- 5+ years of aviation electrical installer experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Boeing aircraft, including models like 737, 747, 777, and 787. Experience in handling Boeing-specific maintenance processes and tools.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of FAA, military, and industry standards.
- Must own and provide basic hand tools required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.
