Job Summary
As an Experimental A&E Specialist III you will be at the forefront of innovation and design to create the next generation avionics and electrical builds. Daily tasks will require the use of your related degree to maintain, modify, and create start to finish aircraft builds. Activities will include but are not limited to wire harness build, modification, and verification. Circuit card build and modification that will roll into aircraft communication systems and essential bus operations. This will also include high level software load and manipulation to debug issues and test functionality. All of these tasks will require the highest level of quality to ensure a long-lasting and safe product.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Perform aircraft troubleshooting and wire harness repair using approved methods.
- Use of hand tools such as side cutters and wire strippers, for basic fabrication of simple wire harnesses.
- Perform aircraft troubleshooting and wire harness repair using approved methods.
- Use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and spectrum analyzers for circuit testing.
- Provide feedback to Engineering on parts/assemblies/installation.
- On aircraft and component level troubleshooting, pitot static calibration, and software load.
- Fabricate flight articles with minimal supervision or fabrication guidance on moderate tasks.
- Maintain strict quality standards.
- Proficient in use of all specialty tools and calibration requirements for building harnesses.
- Perform modifications to avionics and electrical systems in accordance with engineering documentation.

- 2-year related degree or military background in relevant field
- 5 years direct industry experience
- Ability to work in a group environment
- Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time
