We are seeking an Industrial Electronics Electrician for our Canoga Park, California location. This will be a split shift position.
This position embraces all industrial electrical & electronic systems, controls and equipment utilized in company buildings and facilities as well as production machinery and equipment. It requires the ability to diagnose, repair and maintain machines and systems such as CNC machine tools, welders, X-ray equipment, PLC operated process equipment, industrial furnaces, ovens, HVAC systems, boilers, pumping systems, motor and motor controls, VFDs, overhead cranes, camera systems, alarm systems, lighting systems, wiring systems and related industrial electrical equipment. Candidates must exercise independent judgment in ascertaining causes of failures and apply independent knowledge in methods of solving technical problems.

Essential Functions:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair machines manufactured by one or more of the following manufacturers: Mazak, Makino, G&L, DS Technologies, HAAS, DMG Mori, Charmilles, Sciaky, Ipsen & Sip, or CNC Machine experience
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, & research technical documentation and maintenance manuals during trouble shooting of breakdowns.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial vacuum pumps and controls including diffusion pumps, roughing pumps, turbo molecular pumps, and blowers.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair computers and computer systems including installing software, software upgrades, hard drive and memory replacements or upgrades, hard drive cloning, RAID system repairs, and power supply replacement.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and rebuild electric motors including bearing replacement, leveling, aligning, and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment using a computer for diagnostic including going online, navigating PLC software, and reading and understanding ladder logic.
- Program and setup variable frequency drives, process meters, temperature controllers, current monitors, and PLCs.
- Perform required electrical work in confined spaces and at elevations up to 60 feet.
- Operate personnel lifts, scissor lifts, and powered industrial vehicles.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of preventative maintenance experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- 7- 10 years of experience preferred.
- Certification or hands on experience maintaining and repairing machines manufactured by one or more of the following manufacturers: Mazak, Makino, G&L, DS Technologies, HAAS, DMG Mori, Charmilles, Sciaky, Ipsen & Sip, or CNC Machine experience
- Experience using electrical testing equipment including multimeters, ammeters, megohmmeter, ground resistance testers, circuit tracers, and process calibrators.
- Be familiar with the latest NEC, NFPA 70E, and FPA 79 safety standards including proper conduit size, wire size, overcurrent protection, and overload protection.
- Military electrical and/or electronic training
- Electrical and/or Electronics Trade School Completion
- Experience with PLC controls including reading and troubleshooting ladder logic and function block programs
- Experience with manual lifts and harnesses
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $23.35/hr - $56.32/hr.
