Primary Responsibility:
The duties and responsibilities consist of and include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform logistics function for the company by optimizing availability of aircraft, crews, and current locations. Aviation background preferred but not required
- Communicate verbally over the phone and e-mail-based communications
- Communicate with clients and quote trips based on crew and aircraft availability while complying with pricing
- Communicate with clients, flight crews, and maintenance to ensure on-time routing
- Locate air and ground-based assets given certain time constraints to manage a client’s logistics schedule
- Enter and track trips in Avianis, a flight following software
- Handle all transportation and accommodations for all flights (air ambulance, cargo, and passenger)
- Coordinate customs, international permits, ground handling, and maintenance constraints as well as obtaining landing permits, overflight permits from foreign governments in a timely fashion
- Maintain dispatch reports, aircraft records, and files which have government-restricted access
- Multi-task while maintaining a service-oriented demeanor
Requirements
Education Requirements:
- Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications, Certificates, Licenses & Document Requirements:
- A valid unrestricted driver’s license
Work Environment & Culture Skills:
- Intermediate MS Office knowledge, computer software & internet proficiency
- Candidate must be able to read, understand and write English
- Candidate should be motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized, and able to manage and be managed
- Candidate must be reliable, punctual, and flexible
- Candidate must be able to multi-task, respect and maintain confidentiality
- Candidate must be ethical, trustworthy with sensitive information

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
- Light to moderate lifting is required (up to 30lbs)
Location Requirements:
- Operation based in Ypsilanti, MI at Willow Run Airport (YIP)
- There is no ability to work from home
- There will be no relocation package for this position
Shift Requirements:
- Second Shift – 1pm – 11pm
- Four 10-hour days, Three days off
- Must be available full-time and work overtime when required
- Must be available for assigned shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
Other Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Compensation:
- Competitive Salary established pay scale including yearly increases
- $24 - $28 per hour, based on education and/or other experience
