STRUCTURES AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS

WORK HOURS: Modified work week, 10.5 hour shifts; 4 days on, 3 off
LOCATION: Richmond (YVR) – Vancouver South Terminal, 4760 Inglis Drive, Richmond
TERM: Full-Time Regular
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance Department
COMPENSATION: $39.37 – $57.04 per hour. Qualified candidates will be placed within the range based on industry experience. Training
and opportunities for growth available.

RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Work with the rest of the structures crew to perform structural MRO work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
▪ Complete work orders and internal repair job cards as required with accuracy and attention to detail.
▪ Other duties as directed by the Structures Crew Chiefs, Coordinator and PRM

QUALIFICATIONS/ASSETS
▪ AME S license, Minimum 2 years work experience on aircraft structures
▪ Clear and proven commitment to safety (for yourself and others) in line with our “Safety First” Value
▪ Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and carry out advanced sheet metal repairs in a fast paced and safety sensitive environment.
▪ Excellent communication skills, ability, and desire to work in a close-knit, team-based environment.
▪ Always guided by Integrity and committed to the four values of our company – Safety, Innovation, Customer Service and Team
Spirit.
▪ Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks.
▪ Willingness to work flexible schedules.
▪ Structures experience on DHC-2, DHC-3(T) and DHC-6 an asset
▪ Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently
▪ Understanding of metallic structures and metal processes and properties
▪ Knowledge of materials and common practices/processes
▪ Ability to lead and mentor structures apprentices
▪ Experience with composite repairs an asset
