Job Description:
  1. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various types of aircraft, including but not limited to inspections, repairs, and modifications.
  2. Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft systems, components, and avionics to identify and rectify issues promptly.
  4. Interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and diagrams to effectively carry out maintenance tasks.
  5. Utilize specialized tools, equipment, and testing devices to perform maintenance and repairs accurately.
  6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and hours spent.
  7. Collaborate with other maintenance team members and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to aviation maintenance.
  10. Participate in training programs and skill development activities to enhance proficiency and expand knowledge in the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with composite materials and advanced avionics systems.
  2. Inspection Authorization (IA) or other advanced certifications preferred but not required.
  3. Prior experience working with general aviation aircraft.
  4. Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Management or related field Preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to perform tasks that require bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
  2. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights, including on ladders, scaffolds, and aircraft surfaces.
  3. Ability to withstand exposure to various weather conditions and environmental factors, including noise, vibration, fumes, and odors.

Job Requirements:
  1. FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred but not required.
  2. Experience working as an aircraft mechanic, preferably in a General Aviation or Commercial Aviation environment.
  3. Experience working with a variety of aircraft models, including single-engine, multi-engine, piston, and turbine-powered aircraft.
  4. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other software applications.
  9. Willingness to adhere to a drug-free workplace policy and participate in random drug and alcohol testing as required by regulatory agencies.
