What can you expect...

For this position, you will be on an individual development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Systems Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following: 

  • Analyse and take charge of the security aspects (objectives, level of criticality and expectations in terms of resilience) in conjunction with the IT architect and/or the security and programs architect in the infrastructure.

  • Define and implement the platforms needed to integrate the solutions (security services or products) in new applications.

  • Plan, coordinate, in relation with the other sectors concerned (systems, networks, database management system, etc.), integration needs expressed. Install additional hardware components, software components or subsystems in an existing or under development system, respect established processes and procedures taking into account the specification, capacity and compatibility of existing and new modules to ensure integrity and interoperability.

  • Contribute to the technical qualification and integration into the environment of production.

  • Document the implementation, update and operation processes of safety of the components and organise the conditions for implementing the maintenance security condition.

Your development journey will also include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into this position.

At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of System Engineer!

What we are looking for…

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent within Systems Engineering, Cyber Security or Computer Science

  • Any experience defining system behaviour, defining system interfaces or identifying requirements would be beneficial.

  • A keen interest in understanding the big picture - how does, and should, a product or piece of software interact with the wider environment it sits in.

  • A strong Systems Engineer has the ability to interact with technical and non-technical personnel in order to pull together a joint understanding of what the end system should look like, how it should behave and what problem or gap it will resolve.

  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.

  • The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
