Reporting to the Head of Stress Office, you work as a structural stress engineer in the domains of development, production support and in-service support.

Within the Structures department of ATR Engineering directorate, the Stress Office provides transversal support to all structural stress activities. The main ones are:

  • support to the fleet of in-service aircraft: stress validation and justification of a structural damage or repair design
  • support to the aircraft production line: stress validation and justification of non-conformities (concessions)
  • continued airworthiness of the fleet: stress justification of structural damage detected on in-service aircraft
  • changes to the design of the airframe and cabin (modifications): stress justification of the modified configuration to allow its certification

The stress justifications cover static, fatigue and damage tolerance as needed and are provided in accordance with the applicable regulation requirements (JAR/CS, FAR) and within the frame of ATR DOA - Design Organization Approval.

Your main tasks as a stress engineer will be:

  • produce the necessary stress justifications
  • liaise with the ATR suppliers that provide the stress justifications, in order to define the justification approach. Check and validate the provided stress notes.
  • liaise with ATR partners to coordinate and follow-up the activities under their responsibility. Check and validate the stress notes they provide
  • provide stress advice and support to the other groups of the Structures department and of the Engineering directorate

Required education:

  • aeronautical or mechanical engineering master&39;s degree or equivalent

Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in the domain

General skills:

  • very good knowledge of both static and fatigue/damage tolerance stress analysis methods, applicable to both metallic and composite structures
  • knowledge of aeronautical regulations
  • familiarity with structural analysis software tools like Patran/Nastran, Safe/Isami or equivalent
  • experience with in-service and production issues
  • knowledge of aircraft structural manuals (SRM, NTM…)

Language:

  • English: a minimum of B2 level required, including technical English.
  • French: not mandatory but a level B2 would be highly appreciated and useful

Soft skills:

  • rigor, autonomy, proactivity, flexibility and availability.

Sous la responsabilité du Head of Stress Office, vous travaillez comme ingénieur calcul dans les domaines du développement, du support à la production et à la flotte en service

Au sein du bureau étude structures de ATR, le Stress Office fournit un support transversal à toutes les activités calcul. Les principales sont :

  • support à la flotte des avions en service : validation calcul et justification des dommages structuraux ou des solutions de réparation
  • support à la chaine de production : validation calcul et justification des non-conformités (dérogations)
  • navigabilité continue de la flotte : justification calcul des dommages structuraux détectés sur les avions en service
  • modification à la conception de la cellule et de la cabine : justification calcul de la configuration modifiée pour en permettre la certification

Les justifications calcul couvrent les aspects statique, fatigue et tolérance aux dommages selon le besoin et sont réalisées en accord avec la règlementation applicable (JAR/CS/FAR) et dans le cadre du DOA d&39;ATR (Design Organisation Approval - Agrément d&39;Organisme de Conception).

En tant qu&39;ingénieur calcul vos tâches sont :

  • produire les justifications calcul
  • assurer la liaison avec les fournisseurs et sous-traitants d&39;ATR qui produisent les notes techniques pour définir la méthode de calcul. Vérifier et valider les notes techniques livrées.
  • assurer la liaison avec les partenaires d&39;ATR (Airbus Atlantic, Leonardo) pour coordonner et suivre les activités sous leur responsabilité. Vérifier et valider les notes techniques livrées.
  • fournir le support et l&39;avis calcul aux autres groupes du bureau études structure et à l&39;ensemble de l&39;Engineering ATR

Education :

  • master (ou diplôme équivalent) en génie aéronautique ou mécanique

Expérience professionnelle :

  • 10 ans d’expérience dans le domaine du calcul structural

Compétences métier :

  • très bonne connaissance des méthodes de calcul en statique et fatigue/tolérance aux dommages à la fois sur structures métalliques et composites
  • connaissance de la règlementation aéronautique
  • familiarité avec les logiciels de calcul comme Patran/Nastran, Safe/Isami ou équivalents
  • expérience dans les domaines aéronautiques de la production et du support en service
  • connaissance des manuel d&39;entretien et réparation de la structure

Langues :

  • anglais : un niveau B2 minimum est requis, y compris pour l’anglais technique aéronautique
  • français : pas obligatoire, mais un niveau B2 serait très apprécié et utile

Compétences non techniques :

  • rigoureux, autonome, proactif, flexible et disponible
  • esprit d&39;équipe et bonnes capacités de communication
