MISSION :

In the Flight Physics department of Engineering, in the “Aircraft & Engine Models Development” group, ATR is looking for its Flight Physics Models engineer. As such, you will participate to modelization and development missions in the domain of Flight Physics (aircraft and engine). You will ensure that ATR achieves states of the art Simulation tools and way of working with them, supporting flight testing, Certification, in-Service analysis, training and preliminary design activities.

You have a good team spirit, you like coding, modelling and A/C level simulations, you have you are interested by working on various technical topics related to flight Physics... this job is made for you.

ACTIVITIES
  • Ensure sustaining and development on Flight Physics models (aircraft and propulsion) for internal design and training simulators.

  • Be involved in

    • Flight Physics models identification activities: flight tests definition, flight data analysis, models adjustments and validation (including ATR 72-500 models re-identification for EVO).

    • Sustaining and development of simulation models for internal design and training simulators.

    • Simulation models improvement for preliminary design activities (EVO).

  • Participate to Datapackage activities:

    • Datapackage specification and Software Package updates for the training center (depending on aircraft model)

    • Qualification Test Guide deliveries to the training center, showing models conformity with aircraft behavior.

  • Be the interface with handling qualities group.

  • Ensure a back office support on flight physics models

  • Ensure training and support for internal users.

PROFILE
  • Initial formation: Engineer with aeronautical profile
  • Technical skills:
    • Engineer with aeronautical profile, with 5 years experience in flight Physics models (aircraft/engines).

    • Experience in model identification.

  • Language  skills: English
  • IT skills: Windows, Linux (GISEH), Fortran, Python, C, Office.
  • Soft skills: Team working. Ability to communicate internally (Engineeering; program, support), and externally (customer, partners, sub-contractors).
