Network Design Engineer

Contract Position
$58.13-$63.13/Hour
Network Design Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space & Defense company.
Responsibilities:
- Design and plan network systems, as well as provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
- Deliver specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
- Coordinate third party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoot problems with department users and network administrators.
- Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways, etc.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or STEM and 5+ years of experience, or Masters degree and 3+ years of experience.
- Capable of performing technical analysis in data network planning, engineering, and design
- Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent discipline/field
- Develop and provide innovative and creative solutions to a variety of difficult problems of considerable scope and complexity, using established precedent and policies
