Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityAs an Advanced Application Engineer - HCCI at Honeywell, you will be responsible for implementing standard Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions within budgeted time and cost constraints. You may also be required to work on customized solutions based on project-specific requirements. Your role will involve executing applications as per design and requirement specifications with a focus on quality assurance.

You will be responsible for front-end engineering studies, design documents and drawings, field surveys, application design and implementation, and project-related documentation. Additionally, you will provide consulting on various applications, support sales and proposals, and conduct customer demonstrations. This role will require travel, including international travel to the USA, up to 50 of the time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and drive the achievement of program-specific performance within Honeywell Connected Industrial, partnering with world-class engineers and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
  • Utilize strategic thinking to anticipate problems, recognize and eliminate barriers.
  • Lead and maintain an optimized program management operating system for a specific business segment.
  • Bring the best global thinking to your own organization and region to understand technology and management concepts required for Honeywell products and processes.
  • Provide technical support, including diagnosing problems and providing solutions for Honeywell Advanced Solutions products such as Uniformance PHD, DynAmo Alarm Management software, Production Account & Reconciliation, and Uniformance Asset Sentinel applications.
  • Manage and coordinate communication surrounding product releases to effectively support both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Other Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that required prerequisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, and documentation) are in place prior to commencing work.
  • Produce conceptual, functional, and detailed design specifications under supervision.
  • Execute implementation, test, and documentation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
  • Share technical knowledge with the project team, supervisor, own discipline, and other disciplines.
  • Provide consulting support to the project team.
  • Report progress and technical problems to the project and engineering supervisor.
  • Proactively identify potential quality and efficiency improvements within assigned work.
  • Comply with all processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Support Proposal and Estimation (P&E) whenever required.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors degree in chemical engineering.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience with production management, asset analytics software, and/or Manufacturing Execution System in an industrial setting.
  • Experience in Honeywells Advanced Solutions software or industrial production management solutions such as production balance or SigmaFi (installation, implementation, and configuration).
  • Ability to travel 50 in the USA and Canada.

WE VALUE

  • Knowledge of Windows OS, network and domains administration
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills including problem solving, troubleshooting, management of priorities and self-directed.
  • Experience with Honeywell DCS systems, competitive applications and services
  • Hands-on experience with Honeywells Uniformance PHD data historian
  • Experience in Honeywells Uniformance Asset Sentinel application
  • Experience in Honeywells Production Management application
  • Hands-on experience with OLE for Process Control (OPC) technologies
  • Experience with third party data historian is an asset
  • Experience in data management and data analytics is a plus
  • Experience in software implementation and deployment
  • 10 years of industrial/engineering experience is a plus
