ABOUT THE ROLE

Be responsible for providing technicalexpertise on a variety of projects and programs. You will use your expertknowledge of engineering discipline and standards, processes and tools tocomplete and ensure compliance of various projects. You are the point ofcontact for external customers and you may participate in development of newbusiness opportunities and product lines

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for participating in research, development anddemonstration of advanced technology that will result in new technologies
  • Responsible for developing new concepts and technologies,and demonstrating them for relevant environments
  • Participate as a technology team member through interfaceswith internal and external customers and partners
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changingpriorities that require quick adaptation
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 3+ years in inertial sensing and navigationtechnologies
WE VALUE
  • Masters Degree or PhD in Engineering
  • Industry experience with navigation technologies
  • Ability to execute assigned projects
  • High level programming skills (Python, C++, Matlab/Simulink)
  • Ability to solve complex problems through analysis and innovation
  • Strong ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated creativity, technical curiosity and breadth of knowledge
  • Experience with following:
    • Filtering technologies: Kalman Filters, Particle Filters, Factor Graphs
    • Navigation or autonomy algorithms (Ex: Strapdown Navigation)
    • Dynamic systems or control systems (Ex: Aircraft or robotic motion simulation, control law design)
    • Embedded systems (Ex: NVIDIA Jetson series, FPGAs, other processors)
    • Sensors (IMUs, EO/IR Cameras, LIDAR, radar, others)
    • Robot Operating System (ROS)
