Honeywells ACST team is seeking an Advanced StructuralAnalysis Engineer in either our Broomfield,CO or Golden Valley, MN locations.

JOB ACTIVITIES

  • Apply finite element analyses (FEA) across R&D, prototype design and manufacturing
  • Participate in strategic planning to enable design maturation
  • Integrate mechanical designs with electrical, cryogenic, vacuum, and magnetic systems
  • Collaborate with scientists & engineers in a cross functional team environment by documenting & communicating results across a broad array of disciplines, including program management

U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance

Compensation & Benefits:

Non-Incentive Eligible
Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $137,000.00

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • 5 years of structural analysis experience using FEA modeling techniques & tools
  • U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance

WE VALUE

  • Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering field
  • Demonstrated experience with Ansys, Ansys Parametric Design Language (APDL), and Solidworks
  • Experience in the following methods & tools: 
  • Programming such as Matlab, Python, Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT
  • Validation of models using experimental data
  •  Optimization methods & tools
  • Experience with cryogenic systems and supporting infrastructure
