Description:Senior Manager of the Finite Element Analysis and Structures Test team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of aircraft level finite element tools, methods, and analysis to support the structural integrity of airframe structures. This includes, but not limited to, development efforts and integration of new capabilities and support of continued force management products. This team will also provide time critical MRB support as needed. The team will be responsible for successful completion of full scale static and durability test articles. The team will incorporate lessons learned and improvements form prior completed work. The successful candidate will also be responsible for work executed in the material test labs in support of manufacturing activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for all schedule and cost performance and well as exhibit personnel leadership acumen. The Senior Manager is responsible for performance reviews, merit planning, and other management imperatives.
Basic Qualifications:
• Significant experience in finite element analysis and methods.
• Significant experience with Aircraft structural test process and procedures.
• Experience with Material Test Lab process and procedure.
• Significant experience with Government customers.
• Significant experience with EVMS principles and performance metrics.
Desired Skills:
• Previous Leadership experience.
• Experience with technical personnel within industry partners and government agencies.
• Ability to effectively work across organizational boundaries.
• Recognized expertise in finite element analysis and structural testing and test lab management.
• Security Clearance strongly desired
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
