Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics company as an Aircraft Field Service Engineer (FSE) on our Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team! This position will support the F-35 Program at our Ghedi, AB, Italy location.
As a Nose to Tail (NTT) FSE, the preferred candidate will be a subject Matter Expert (SME) in APG/Vehicle Systems (VS), Avionics/Mission Systems (MS) or Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures. While also being an emerging authority in the other two disciplines that they are not a SME in. The NTT FSE will possess the skill set to accomplish advanced troubleshooting and analysis of VS, MS or SLO.
The candidate will act as part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) technical interface to the on-site customer (both Operations and Maintenance) in resolving issues arising from maintenance and modification activities for all matters dealing with the F-35 aircraft.
Must be a United States Citizen. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
7 years total military aircraft experience with a minimum of 4 years APG/Vehicle Systems (VS).
Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
F-35 or F-22 aircraft experience
SLO / LO experience
Previous Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience
Fault Isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level
Technical report writing skills
Experience with drawing/schematics reading and interpretation
Experience with Engineering tools to include but not limited to PDM, VAS, JEDI, JARVIS and CRE
Knowledge of CATIA & System/Software Engineering Environment (S/SEE)
Airframe & Power plant (A&P) license
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
