Aircraft In Service System Installation Engineer (MSI and/or ESI)

Job Description:

Position: Aircraft In Service System Installtion Engineer (MSI and/or ESI)
Job Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 3-10 years

The main activities are to define repair solutions while respecting a given A/C System/structure and its accessibiity and constraints of material and spare part availability. raising and co-ordination of documentation. The job holder is expected to be a signatory in the System Installation / structural design / analysis domain or posess the required skill & competency to achieve the expected signatory rights. Furthermore the engineer, within the scope of their delegated signatory status, is responsible for ensuring that issued repair solutions are correct in regard to the suitability and validity. 
The various task to perform are:
 • Manage and process all MSI / ESI (Mechanical / Electrical System Installation) activities in cooperation with customer service teams, chief engineering teams, airframe, systems and partners.
• Search: the right inputs to carry out assessments of a given damage scenario 
            o Query the right drawings for the Aircraft configuration.
            o Use hand calculations / computer methods.
• Propose & Analyze: the In Service repair solutions for airlines.
            o Support In Service requests from customer,            
            o Contribute SB (Service Bulletin) activities,
            o Investigate damage parts,
            o Collaborate on ISOs (In-Service Reportable Occurrence),
            o Contribute to SRM
             o Develop capabilities and processes to enable and enhance Time, Cost, Quality delivery to the Programmes,
• Link up with customer service and design teams to ensure full satisfaction of our Customers.
• Out of hours support (Stand by).
• On site working when required.
Liaise across stakeholders (eg: Design, Stress / F&DT, Aero, Materials, Perfo etc.) 
            o Validate the methods applied and various assumptions & data used.
            o Such that the repair makes the Aircraft airworthy again.
            o Define maintenance programs.
• Report: Prepare the technical justification documents (Design and/or Stress) 
• Approve: Approve or Secure Approval of the technical justification
• PM & Business Improvement:
            o Identify and support local improvement initiatives.
            o Aligned across various stakeholders.
            o Ensure timely response, effective monitoring & reporting.
