We are currently seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer E-License to join our team at our Vancouver, BC Base. Reporting to the Base Engineer/Senior Maintenance Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME-E) are responsible for the safe servicing and repair or modification and maintenance of Central Mountain Air’s aircraft and aircraft components.

• Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

• Proven technical aptitude and experience with electrical, navigation and flight controls required.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical/avionics systems on Central Mountain Air’s fleet.

• Perform electrical wire and system installation tasks.

• Create task cards and work orders.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks.

• Keep timely and accurate records of the repair and maintenance activities conducted.

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, instructions, etc.

• Assist with the general maintenance and servicing of hangar equipment and facilities

• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment

• Other duties as assigned

• Transport Canada Certified AME-E License

• Minimum 5 years experience

• Ability to legally work in Canada

• Must be able to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)

• Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to working with WinAir or other similar maintenance programs.

• Able to perform well under pressure, comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights

• Safety orientated

• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs
