STS Engineering Solutions is hiring an Aircraft Reliability Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas. This full-time 1099 contractor position involves performing aircraft reliability analysis and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll provide actionable insights to improve aircraft operations and support our Technical Operations (TechOps) team by analyzing trends and data from our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct aircraft and component reliability analysis and reporting.
- Collect and analyze maintenance data to ensure accurate, data-driven recommendations.
- Perform statistical analysis on CAMP requirements and Service Difficulty Reports.
- Identify and resolve chronic aircraft issues through root-cause analysis.
- Manage and deliver reliability metrics via an executive dashboard.
- Prepare FAA-required reports like CASS, MRRs, and SDRs.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Programs and Engineering to optimize performance.
- Support Safety Management System initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Degree in aerospace or aviation-related field (other degrees considered with Part 121 experience).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in aircraft reliability programs.
- Proficiency in data management tools like MS Excel, SQL, Python, etc.
- Strong understanding of FAA regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- US citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. (STS does not sponsor visas).
Preferred:
- Experience with TRAXXALL or similar Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) systems.
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant licenses.
- Hands-on experience with aircraft maintenance.
- Familiarity with Lean 6 Sigma and Continuous Improvement methods.
