Job Description:
The Airframe Process Engineer is required for 1st, or split shift (1st to 2nd, flexible hours ) to complete tasks as related to AeroStructures in Support of Black Hawk Major Assembly build, tooling, liaison, and planning. The candidate’s responsibilities will include supporting a Process Engineer Lead assigned to existing Black Hawk programs. Primary responsibilities include Manufacturing Engineering support of Black Hawk build and designs by providing producibility review, work instruction planning, developing tooling and manufacturing plans, and manufacturing implementation and support of airframe installation and modifications. Also, the candidate must review, sign off, create, and implement PCAS for EC changes, issue SAP notifications to create new tooling, and perform process validations. 
  • This position reports to Process Engineering Black Hawk Lead
  • This position is seeking a highly motivated, flexible individual with proven technical abilities and business judgment. 
  • Good communication skills are required.
  • 5+ years of Airframe Process Engineering required. 
  • The candidate must be proficient in all processes associated with Airframe Process Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Solumina, Matrix, Microsoft Programs, CATIA, CADRA, and SAP is mandatory.
  • Candidate must be flexible in regards to work schedule and willing to support weekends.
  • The candidate must pro-actively coordinate with Design Engineering and other disciplines and actively engage in continuous quality improvement through the use of other ACE tools. 
  • The candidate must be flexible highly motivated with a proven technical ability and business judgment with the ability to work on multiple programs.
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering required
