Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, a part of Magellan Aerospace Kelbrook, Lancashire has an exciting opportunity for an Airmotive Technician – Engine Disassembly & Clean.
- Full-time-permanent position
- Weekdays are Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week.
- Job location: Colne Road, Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN
To disassemble PT6 engines, and clean the related components in line with Pratt & Whitney Canada manuals, and in accordance with Euravia’s Quality Systems.

Essential Responsibilities
To be competent in all aspects of engine disassembly;
- Initial engine inspection including completion of relevant paperwork and video summary.
- Engine disassembly in accordance Pratt & Whitney Canada & Standard Practices manuals, using controlled tooling.
To be competent in all aspects of components clean;
- Component cleaning and blasting in accordance with Pratt & Whitney Canada & Standard Practices manuals.
- Daily and weekly checks to ensure compliance to required standards.
Maintain a clean and ordered working environment
Liaison with the various department heads to ensure that the needs of the business are met
Ensure compliance with Euravia’s Quality Systems
Maintain the highest 6S standard
Ensure compliance with H & S requirements and liaise with H&S manager as necessary
Completion of any other tasks as designated by your Line Manager
Position Requirements
Experience:
- Preference to a mechanical background. Experience in aviation is not essential as on the job training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of tooling and measuring equipment.
Key Competencies:
- Ability work on own initiative whilst still upholding highest quality standards
- Understand and interpret technical drawings and service bulletin requirements
- Strong familiarisation with use of appropriate PPE
