ANTENNA ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and characterization of antenna systems for communications: phased arrays, parabolics and telemetry antennas

  • Contribute to the integration of antenna systems into spacecraft and ground based systems


Job Requirements:
>

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

  • 5+ years of research or development experience in the general areas of RF and antennas


PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering

  • Knowledge of antenna, microwave, and RF circuit theory

  • Experience with a 3D EM simulation tools such as CST or HFSS

  • Experience with the development of phased array antenna systems

  • Familiar with the use of RF instrumentation, such as spectrum analyzers and signal analyzers

  • Experience with one of the mainstream RF circuit simulation tools: AWR, ADS, Genesys

  • Experience with antenna prototyping tools and techniques

  • Experience with antenna fabrication technologies

  • Familiar with antenna measurement techniques and tools such as anechoic/reverb chambers, near field EM measurements, etc.

  • Experience with volume manufacturing of antenna systems

  • Knowledge in RF design for space applications

  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Python

  • Ability to work cross-disciplinary with hardware, software and mechanical engineers, purchasing, and production teams


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
