Associate Engineer - Flight Physics Capabilities

Job Description:

Translate capability needs of Flight Physics into method and tool specifications.

Design, develop, and validate Flight Physics methods and tools.

Drive applications of M&T and define best practices to be used by Flight Physics business teams (ie., Aerodynamics, Aircraft Performance, Loads, Aeroelastics and Weights).

Ensure methods development for all Flight Physics Modelling, multidisciplinary integration of Flight Physics capabilities and that solutions meet technical and user requirements.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Analyze the business context, design and  document the solution, present that solution to stakeholders and support the project team with its implementation.

• Ensure strategic alignment of software development activities in terms of process management, methodology, rules and tools (tool chain).

• Conduct feasibility studies in complex, heterogeneous project environments

• Work closely in a cross functional team, collaborate and foster team spirit

Your boarding pass:

• Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or equivalent and/ or with strong experience in software development

• Analytical and structured mindset, enjoys challenges, and open to learn new technologies

• Experience in Modelling and Simulations and familiarity with requirements specifications

• Experience with automation of workflows

• Previous experience with Python and MATLAB.

• Ability to learn fast, comfortable working in full autonomy

• Fluent in English
