Job Summary
Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business, or a technical unit.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform administrative activities in support of the Engineering organization. Support engineering with engineering duties and/or hands-on tasks. May maintain engineering databases, engineering files and labor costs. Examine records for completeness and accuracy. Act as a resource for department needs in the areas of training, troubleshooting, and program or project coordination. May handle special projects with minimal or no management initiation or review.
- Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit
- Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources
- Compile, review and analyze data
- Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations
- May design processes to enhance work flow
- Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures
- This position typically spends 70 of their time supporting the function
- Good understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
- The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
- Knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills
The expected pay scale for this position is $19.33/hr - $26.09/hr. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly.
