Position Summary
The Automation/SOAR Engineer – Fraud Prevention sits at the exciting intersection of traditional Cyber Security and Fraud Detection. JetBlue leverages an innovative MITRE ATT&CK-style approach around the data requirements, detection, investigation and response to technology-enabled fraud against both our customers and our business. In this role, you will bring your skills in engineering and scripting, experience with SOAR or other workflow-automation tools, a keen interest in the power of technology, and a passion for fighting crime to this new position within our team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Design and implement scripts, playbooks and other automated processes for earlier detection, more efficient investigation, and reduced losses from fraud.
- Lead the redesign and scaling of processes to enhance efficiency and streamline fraud prevention workflows.
- Leverage your communication skills, inquisitive mind and structured analysis to learn and map out fraud and security use cases with stakeholders such as data scientists, cybersecurity, revenue integrity, etc.
- Develop custom integrations and automation using scripting language like Python.
- Participate in architecture, process-design and analysis work related to security automation.
- Create value for the business by making detection, enrichment, and investigation of fraud cases more consistent, automated and proactive.
- Work closely with finance, corporate security, product and other teams to holistically combat fraudulent and abusive actors.
- Stay abreast of the latest techniques and tools to understand and deter motivated and well-resourced adversaries.
