An exciting opportunity for an Avionics support engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft.

As the successful candidate, you will join the team in charge of the in-service AIRBUS fleet, engineering support, accountable for Auto Flight, Navigation, Communication & Datalink Systems & Handling Qualities Analysis, within the In-Service Engineering Centre Of Competence (COC).

You will be part of a dynamic team of engineers providing technical assistance for Avionic Systems to Airbus Customers (Engineering & Maintenance organisations mainly; Flight Operations from time to time) for the complete in-service fleet of Airbus Commercial Aircraft.

With Safety and Customer Satisfaction at the heart of its missions, the team ensures timely technical responses and recommendations to daily queries/reports, as well as possible technical on-site assistance whenever required. On a daily basis, you will be in direct contact with our Customers, and a significant number of internal and external stakeholders (Design Office, Continued Airworthy office, Ground/Flight Test team, AOG technical center, Chief Engineering, Programs, Manufacturing, Warranties, Vendors …). At any time, you will be the “Voice of the Customer” within the Airbus organization.

What you will be doing?

  • As avionics system engineer (m:f), you are accountable for responding to customer queries on daily queries/reports regarding the recording systems (Auto Flight, Navigation, Communication & Datalink Systems), for the whole Airbus commercial fleet and all customers, on time & quality,

  • You will analyze all in-service events to identify potential impacts on safety, airworthiness, reliability, quality, cost of ownership, passenger and crew comfort, as well as operational costs,

  • You will be the “voice of the customer” for the proposed solutions,

  • You will regularly meet & discuss with customers (from technical meeting to Worldwide symposium) to provide technical followup and information,

  • You will prepare and publish technical documents to customers, (FAQ),

  • You will participate to expert forums,

  • In any situation, you will ensure a qualitative communication/marketing of available solutions to operators,

  • Using data analytics Airbus tools (typically Skywise Services), you will develop dashboards to provide visibility on Airbus product reliability,

About you, required skills:

  • Educated to a 5-years aeronautical engineering degree (or equivalent),

  • Experience and/or knowledge of avionics systems (3 years min),

  • Service minded and team player,

  • Advanced interpersonal skills to work in close collaboration with Multi Functional Teams & external stakeholders, in a multicultural environment,

  • Good presentation skills (both oral and written),

  • Negotiation level in English

Salary range based on the required profile:
