Summary:
Seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer with experience in mechanical interface design, troubleshooting, and reverse engineering for multi-rack and optical automated test equipment in an optical manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements:

• US citizen or Green Card holder
• STEM degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Experience in mechanical test equipment design within an optical manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX Designer, AutoCAD, or similar design tools
• Experience with 3D printing
• Ability to analyze and specify tolerances in precision component assemblies
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, and system engineers

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop designs, modify documentation, and support production with mechanical analysis and troubleshooting
• Reverse engineer components from physical configurations
• Contribute to cross-functional teams to develop solutions for production and field-testing problems, including design, prototyping, and environmental testing
• Design test fixtures, cables, and interconnects with associated documentation
• Review product designs and analyze development and design requirements
