The Chief Engineer (CE) leads, coordinates, and exercises technical program execution authority over Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for planning, organizing, controlling, integration, execution of, and close out of engineering content on a variety of flight simulator programs.u202F The position will work closely with senior level program engineering management.u202F

Responsible for managing large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams. Key efforts may include cybersecurity, standards development, trainer application development, and enterprise integration across multiple training platforms.
The CE performs as the technical lead over the assigned engineering team on a program to include leading/participatingu202Fin program peer & gate reviews, supporting program management reviews (PMRs), and coordinating technical activity amongst the program IPTs and government/industry engineering consortiums.u202F
The CE receives engineering direction from and is accountable to a Directorate Chief Engineer, who has overall Program Engineering responsibility for successfully proposing,u202Fdevelopingu202Fand delivering Product Line solutions.u202F

3+ years of experience with IBM/Rational or Atlassian development and collaboration tools, DOORS, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Microsoft Projectu202F
