How do we work?
It is our day to day job to design, implement and support our cloud-based services: the goal of our engineers working in the Cloud & Infrastructure Team is to maximise quality and availability of our products. The team members in Veszprem use modern technologies to create new products and transform existing ones aligning with the CAE internal directions and guidelines. One of our main goals is to transition from the present state of our most complex and sophisticated product, CAE LearningSpace, being a fully on-premises virtual or physical system to the future state of a product relying more and more on cloud technologies. Every day, the Cloud & Infrastructure engineers are working to design and lead this initiative with collaboration of the software engineering and support teams.What conditions do we work?
At present, the CAE LearningSpace product exists on premises in the form of physical or virtual servers at our customers, the support infrastructure is similarly deployed and the product itself consists of many components. As the software engineers and architects work on containerizing the product, the infrastructure engineers are busy creating mini-clusters by re-purposing the infrastructure available at our customersu2019 site; the cloud infrastructure engineers build a scalable and multi-regional cluster in Azure and/or AWS to support the vision of a hybrid-deployment model the future of CAE LearningSpace.
