Position Title: Co-op Student, Industrial Engineering

Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia
DRS Pivotal Power has a current opening for an energetic, self-motivated person, with a proven ability to work closely and cooperatively with others, to fill a full time co-op contract position commencing May 2024
The successful candidates will be responsible to:
- Work closely with and assist the Production Manager in the conduct of various industrial engineering assignments
- Conduct time and motion studies on the production floor
- Review current production methods and determine opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Competing assigned tasks on time
- Gather and assemble production line data
- Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the production environment, support engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
