Job Description:

Tasks

As the Customer Engineer, you will perform the following duties:

  • Proactive familiarization with LHT component maintenance engineering, its processes and constant self-learning
  • Support customer maintenance programs and requirements and translate into LHT processes
  • Proactive engineering support and component performance review for assigned accounts
  • Regular customer interface on topics such as reliability, suspect units, low time component performance
  • Attend engineering and technical review meetings with customer (remote and on-site)
  • Evaluate and present LHT/LTCS technical improvements to customer
  • Work in and maintain various software systems and company e-tools to research, collect and analyze maintenance data
  • Collaborate and work along with internal teams distributing technical knowledge and training when required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

Education

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree desirable

Professional experience

  • 0-2 years of experience in Aviation MRO Engineering required

Technical competencies and other prerequisites

Languages

  • Fluency in English required
  • Spanish and German desirable

Industry knowledge

  • Component/System Engineering and Sales/Customer Service (MRO) required

Expert knowledge

  • General Airworthiness Authority knowledge, Air Carrier Maintenance Programs (CAMP) desired

Computer skills

  • MS Office and SAP as user

Environmental influences or other encumbrances

  • Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to travel

Aviation environment

  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
