This entry level Cyber Security Systems Engineering position will support multiple programs in the Cyber Resiliency organization.

Assignments will include supporting the evaluation of infrastructure design in the area of cybersecurity, supporting vulnerability analysis of systems, and supporting system cybersecurity certification. Position requires a bachelors degree from an accredited college in related discipline, and a desire to grow in the cybersecurity field.
Basic Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated potential to work in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
The following are appreciated, but not required:
- Understanding of Unix/Linux command line and file systems
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including risk analysis, and information protection
- Experience with troubleshooting computer hardware and networks
- Scripting experience (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl, Powershell)
- Demonstrated project teamwork and leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
