The Digital Mockup (DMU) Owner will interface with the project design team to create a 3D digital mockup of the Engineering Product. The DMU Owner will coordinate the sharing of the DMU internal and external customers, perform clash checks, ensure model integrity and DMU quality.

• Provide ownership and responsibility to the DMU definition.
• Participate in discussions with customer(s) on Data Exchange Agreements (DEA), review and approve updates to DEA.
• Interface with partners and customers and attend meetings to address any requests and issues.
• Responsible for checking and validating the CAD model quality for DMU packaging.
• Participating in IPT & CCB meetings as required, complete the DMU tasks as needed to support engineering changes, review and approve the DMU tasks in the DWB routes, provide timely support for the engineering changes relative to DMU.
• Provide customer support, troubleshooting, and training for the DMU content and processes.
• Working with the Engineering Support and IT teams, maintain the health of the DMU processes and automations.
• Operate process automations for Engineering data and processes as well as data transfer.
• Perform CAD conversions between various CAD systems and CATIA V5
• Training activities for new functionalities/processes.
• Document issues or enhancement requests and work with IT Development teams to get them implemented.
• DMU/DPA Process troubleshooting, documentation, and productivity enhancement design/documentation
• DMU/DPA submissions to customer/partners in accordance with various program agreements/schedules.
• Documentation and execution of process automation scripts/macros and associated documentation.
• Identification and documentation of issues and resolutions
• Facilitate the completeness of the DMU definition, modeling of standard parts in 3D CATIA V5 as defined by the Business Processes

Deliverables

• DMU/DPA definition completion and submittal to customer/partner
• Standard hardware model creation
• Provide DMU support and definition completion for the engineering changes as necessary.
• All deliverables must adhere to MRAS Standards and compliance regulations.

Requirements

• Associate’s OR Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 1-5 years of experience in Engineering, Drafting, or similar major. An additional 3 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on real-world experience with CATIA v5 and at least 3 years as DMU engineer.
• Must have experience working with Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) tools; ENOVIA preferred.
• Prior Engineering experience in either Aerospace, Automotive, or comparable industries
