Lockheed Martin Aero is looking for an electrical engineer with at least 2 years experience or master degree to join our rapidly growing Air Mobility & Maritime Mission team in Marietta, GA. The Air Mobility & Maritime Missions (AMMM) organization is comprised of the worlds most well-known aircraft: C-5 Super Galaxy, the C-130 Hercules, the P-3 Orion and the S-3 Viking. AMMM team members design, build, deliver and sustain all of these platforms that have and continue to make history on a truly global scale.

The candidate selected for this position will join the AMMM Mission Processor and Displays Systems avionics team within the Engineering and technology organization. Team members design, integrate, and test additions, updates and improvements to the Avionics, Mission, and Software systems on all of these platforms. The teams focus is on Core Processing Hardware, Display Hardware, Recording and Storage Devices, Control Panels, Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog conversion, Auto-flight, Air Data, Digital Maps, Cargo & Air Drop Handling, and many other systems and equipment.

The candidate should be energetic, have sound theoretical technical skills, the ability to work independently, yet thrive in a team environment, and thrive on troubleshooting complex electronic systems.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
- A BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, closely related technical field or equivalent experience/combined education considered

- Experience in one of the following: circuit design, circuit analysis, troubleshooting, test instrumentation, or data analysis tools like Pspice
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design
- Experienced using Xilinx and/or Microsemi FPGAs
- Experience with Perl, Visual Basic, and C/C++
- MIL-STD- 1553B, ARINC 429, Ethernet interfaces
- DO 178C/254
- Capital toolset to create level II schematics

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
