Job Description
The Engineer – Aircraft Structures is responsible for the technical development, in-service support, modifications and repair designs of Cascade Aerospace products and services, with a focus on Aircraft Structures Engineering.
Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian Government Security Clearances.
Major Responsibilities & Duties
Strive to consistently act in a manner in which reflects Cascade Aerospace’s culture and values.
Design of repairs, modifications, and product developments, focusing on structures and equipment installations in accordance with Cascade’s Engineering Procedures Manuals (EPM) and Design Approval Procedures Manual (DAPM).
Develop engineering data packages in support of airworthiness certification and other department purposes.
- Prepare engineering reports and other documents.
- Review the work of others.
- Ensure all certification requirements are represented in configuration control and certification data package.
Support BD and Engineering Department marketing and sales efforts as necessary.
Provide engineering support to internal and external customers as necessary.
Participate in the administrative activities of the engineering department.
Become familiar with and ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with Cascade Aerospace’s Human Resources safety and security policies and procedures.
Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in BC or equivalent professional designation.
Perform other duties as required.

Education
B.Sc. in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
Experience
3 to 5 years experience working in an aerospace environment
Experience with C130 aircraft preferred
