What Will You Be Doing?
Responsible for assisting Tech Ops Facility Manager and Lead Facility engineer in all day to day operation of the Tech Ops Denver Hanger complex to include all facility related maintenance and repairs
Essential Functions
Essential Functions: (In order of importance, list only those functions that are necessary to carry out the purpose of the position. Include the percentage of time spent on each function.)
Assist facility manager and lead facility engineer in all day to day operations of the Frontier maintenance facility complex.
Responsible for accomplishing routine and non routine maintenance tasks
Assures PM programs are followed per company policy and manufacturers specifications and are completed on time and on schedule
Assist in all preventative and nonroutine repair maintenance procedures for facility infrastructure to include but not limited to
- HVAC systems, AHU, A/C units, roof top chillers, main system boilers, and all temp control systems
- Deluge Fire systems both dry and AFFF deluge systems maintenance, diesel pump engines, distribution, product containment and procurement
- Hanger fire system monitoring, detection, alarm and alarm monitoring systems and programs
- Hanger water systems, distribution for heat, fire, domestic, backflow valve testing, permitting, replacement
- All Hanger water drainage systems, including both lined and unlined pond areas, all pretreatment device maintenance and tracking, permitting, all Metro Waste interaction, inspections, violations, including oversight of zero discharge permit
- Main hanger door systems, drive motors, integrated start systems, gear box reduction systems, 480v trolley distribution systems, upper roller head systems
- All hanger rollup doors, controllers, remote systems, man doors, security doors, and key and lock control
- Hanger aircraft 400HZ power distribution systems, base control units, distribution panels, cords and cord end, both wall and pit mounted
- Hanger air compressor systems, main power distribution, oil water separators, dryer system, coolant systems, air distribution system, Intelaflow systems.
- Hanger docking systems, manual and electric,
- Hanger surveillance system
- Hanger power distribution system, cooling system, transformers, main and sub panels,
- Back up generator and back up battery systems including all emergency egress systems
- General office condition, renovation, set up, allocation, alteration
- Hanger security both secured and none SIDA areas, signage,
- All Environmental issues, DIA environmental inspections, deficiencies, responses, representation
- All hanger lighting, lighting upgrades, lighting replacements, permitting, power usage reporting.
- Liaison to all departments assigned or given space as tenants, concerns, issues, repairs and repair requests
Other Functions
Other duties as assigned by the Tec h Ops Facility Manager as applicable
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of facility maintenance experience, Aircraft hanger facility experience preferred.
- Must have Industrial boiler experience, boiler license preferred
- Valid Drivers License required
- Advanced Fire system knowledge required, Deluge system experience preferred
- College degree or equivalent work experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possess high level of hands-on maintenance ability.
- Ability to effectively train maintenance personnel.
- Ability to serve as a role model quality and professionalism to all personnel
- Ability to solve problems quickly and appropriately in difficult situations
- Excellent planning and time management skills
