Job Description SummaryIn the role of Engineer TSE – Facility and TEH you will be contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems for turboprop testing. The job includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components, and support of test campaign execution.
You will join the engineering test system (TSE) team and will be contribute to design, modify, and manage gas turbine test cell facilities and test enabling hardware - fluid, compressed air and structural systems installed in the test cell required to support turboprop engine testing.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Support the design, analysis, or evaluation of projects executed by the team using engineering principles and adhering to GE procedures, product and program requirements;
- Collaborate on efforts, either with internal or external resources, and support projects through design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning;
- Ensure compliance to GE Aviation Design Practices to drive quality of design and component/system capability;
- Implement plans with guidance to meet technical requirements of components and systems;
- Communicate with partners on project status, escalating issues and proposing solutions to meet customer deliverables;
- Participate in technical and program reviews;
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines;
- Previous experience in Engineering area;
- Familiarity with aero-engines and aero-engine testing, operation or test cells is beneficial;
- Ability to execute based on guidance from more senior team members;
- Strong problem solving skills,
- Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment,
- Strong communication and presentation skills,
- Good proficiency in English.
