Engineer Intern - SDC

Honeywell Building Technologies is seeking an Engineer Intern - SDC for their Markham, Canada location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC control systems
• Review job contract plans and specifications, survey information, sales sketches, estimates and take-off sheets
• Clearly define requirements prior to starting engineering customer specifications, under scope of work and create drawings using ACAD tools
• Design and engineer the HVAC control system, select, and size correct instruments, size and select valves and dampers, calculate Input/Output summaries, select controllers, create plant schematic drawings, wiring drawings, create Bill of Material, write control sequences, create network architecture diagrams
• Create drawing submittal packages
• Interface with Project Managers and / or consultants/customers to resolve project/scope related queries

Must Have:

• Must be working to obtain a Bachelors Degree or a Technical Degree in Engineering
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
• Must return to school for at least one semester after completing internship
• Must be available in May of 2024 for at least 4-8 months, longer is preferred
• Must graduate on or after December of 2024
