Description:Summer Intern - Engineer Planner coordinate with the program offices, finance, DEPOT staff to provide support on material, analyze and control DEPOT schedules and provide timely status to the program office and management.
In this role, you will:
- proactively support continuous improvement of material flow, inventory management and shop floor control processes to support cost, schedule and quality objectives.
- Support metrics development, dashboards and strategic development & delivery.
- Utilize lean Six Sigma tools to identify, implement and coordinate preventative actions to mitigate performance challenges.
- Audit support and inventory processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree relating to Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Production Management, Manufacturing Management, or Business Management, Finance
Desired Skills:
Experience in Microsoft and similar information systems. Communication skills to support meetings with program office staff and leadership.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
