Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Entry Level/Hourly, Systems Engineering Aide in White Sands, NM.
In this role you will do the following:
Conduct mission/program specific real time spacecraft/satellite flight/ground system operations during readiness, execution and evaluation phases.
Develop detailed plans and procedures to provide maximum mission support in areas such as orbit dynamics, satellite performance analysis, command and control of on-orbit satellites.
Provide technical direction for on orbit mission support, plans for critical vehicle malfunctions and recommends alternate operating techniques to continue maximum mission support. Provides failure analysis of the performance of the orbiting satellites via telemetry data.
Utilizes system software to accomplish all spacecraft control tasks and recommends improvements.
The Successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the following:
-Proficiency in at least one of the following:
TOPL, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, XML, LINUX, Python, JAVA Script
-Juniper or Cisco networking systems
-Current Security+ certification
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position will require a government security clearance .
Basic Qualifications:
-Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.
-Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
-Ability to obtain security clearance.
Desired Skills:
-Preferred candidates will have an Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or similar degree.
-Proficiency in at least one of the following:
TOPL, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, XML, LINUX, Python, JAVA Script
-Juniper or Cisco networking systems
-Current Security+ certification
-Experience with Scripting
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Rotating 40 hour week as assigned by leader
