Description:Engineering Aide to Process Engineering in support of operations in the ABU electronic manufacturing area. Candidate will support development and maintenance of process equipment related to Surface Mount Pick and Place line along with associated soldering and cleaning processes. This role will require the ability to interpret Hardware design requirements through assembly drawings and Bill of Materials to support various Manufacturing processes associated with electronic assembly build and rework. Candidate must be familiar with IPC standards associated with electric assemblies, and Solder Certifications are a plus. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and process problems as they arise on the manufacturing floor along with implementing continuous improvement activities with existing processes. Individual will be required to collaborate with process engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering and manufacturing personnel. Providing hands on support along with training and coaching to manufacturing personnel to create and further develop their skillset.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and associated Bill of Materials.
• Experienced in Automated Surface Mount Assembly equipment.
• IPC-A-610 knowledge/Certification in electrical and mechanical assemblies
• Ability to provide quick turnarounds on technical assistance requests to the manufacturing floor.
Desired Skills:
• Previous circuit card assembly experience desired.
• Able to understand manufacturing process documentation.
• Experience working in team environment and SAP utilization.
• Understanding of 6S principles.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, EPDM

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $56,100 - $107,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $64,500 - $116,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
