Job Description SummaryThe Engineering Finance Capital Allocation Leader serves as the finance focal across engineering engines P&E and external funding while also helping to coordinate the GE Aerospace Capital Council across all divisions. This role directly supports the GE Aerospace Engineering CFO, FP&A leader, and engineering operations leader while working closely with the GE Aerospace CFO on Capital approvals. This individual will be expected to partner with the cross-functional team to deliver on execution, risk mitigation, and process improvement to support the team in delivering on financial targets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This individual is responsible for driving the highest standard of compliance & financial accountability across Engineering Engines. The role requires the ability to work across the matrix and develop a good understanding of technology, industry, and function.

  • Support the accurate and complete financials for the Engineering Engines P&E portfolio and utilize financial reporting to help the team drive operational action
  • Interface between business operations and financial leadership with a focus on driving optimized strategic investment
  • Develop ad hoc analysis to support the capital investment process across all GE Aerospace divisions
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for all of Aerospace Engineering Engines P&E and external funding

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior experience/knowledge of Aerospace business
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to develop plans/priorities and execute against them
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate to and partner with senior leaders
  • Flexibility and willingness to accept new challenges
  • Strong interpersonal and ability to work across all levels and functions of the organization
  • Demonstrated financial analysis skills and knowledge of internal controls process
  • Prior experience supporting Senior Execute+ level leaders
